Top 5 make up trends

So, while I was studying community nursing i came across this video. Don't ask me how community nursing and this are related..cause I don't know (internet na winch). This chick is hilarious but sadly, all her points are true. The first time I was introduced to highlighting and contouring, I just could not understand why someone's face would like nigeria's coat of arms or joseph's coat of many colors :|
Honestly, it was quite baffling. However, I realize that, it is for photoraphy makeup and not day to day. Because it may look good on camera and look totally off real life so but practice with caution biko
In other news i'm guilty too lol but like she said this stuff carry level

Autumn FOTD

I've been seeing alot of posts lately on fall look #1. Well this is my contribution

Often times, autumn makeup looks have a tint of dark on the lips. I chose to go soft because I adore the soft orange colors, the leaves change to. Plus there's nothing grey about today, so why should I look grey right?
I wore this look to class, my classmates kept on asking if i had a date after hahah.
Nawa, can't someone go through nursing school looking a bit decent for once puhlease!
Because, I had a paper due today, I decided to have my, "even though I am mentally stressed, i must look good" type of day. Honestly, looking reasonable (hehe), is my way of relieving stress, covering up hurt or just relaxing.

FAV FACE OF THE DAY
Everything about her face is giving me life. Prior to the post from bellanaija, I never knew much about Lupita Nyongo. I hear she's the new chick on hollywood's block. Ohwell more lotion to her skin, my is her makeup artist did a great job! I mean the color on her lips and her eyes compiment each other nicely! Definitely red carpet worthy and timeless (pls. the look is very versatile)

(Be encouraged) Beauty- A state of mind

Ehn so the other day, I left my house without makeup (I take 2 wk breaks) to meet up with a friend. This chick asked me if i had makeup on and I said no. She even swiped my cheeks looking for foundation, which i found hilarious. Anywho, then she said, "wow i never thought you could leave your house without makeup".

Pause........-_-........I was trying so hard to comprehend that statement because before I discovered makeup 1yr ago, I walked around barefaced and life was good. I love makeup now and life is still good, ain't nothing changed then and ain't nothing changed now

The issue is, does your outward appearance define your beauty? I mean their people who don't leave their house unless there face is 'beat up' or unless there dressed to the T!.

This is how I see it: Beauty is a mindset. I don't know about y'all but I truly believe that I am beautiful. I believe that, whether I'm onpoint or not because I am God's handwork and all His creations are marvelous in His sight. So if I am crafted by God, created for good works why in heavens name should items define my appearance to me. Why should items of appearance put me in a box of depression or sadness when unavailable?  I mean it's good to look neat o! Biko don't go out there looking  raggedy but please be comfortable in whom God has made you. You don't need compliments from a million and one people to confirm your beauty. I mean it never used to be like this for me, LOL. I was so insecure about my looks growing up but man; when I discovered Christ,  that nonsense got kicked to the curb

Clothes, makup and the likes are just additional stuff. Whether you own the latest trends in fashion and beauty or not. Be happy and be content because fact is you..yes You...YOU! are made by God...in His own image (flaws or not). Therefore, because His works are marvelous....so are you

My first Bride!

Now dancing atlanta! Omigosh when i did cj's makeup trial for her wedding it did not hit that she was my first bride until the d-day. To be quite honest, I was very shaky doing the makeup because i didn't want to pull off any monstrous thing on her face. But someone please say "halleluyurrrrrrr" cause i pulled off a pretty neat bridal face well i.mo. :P

In terms of the wedding, it was intimate and very beautiful coming from a country were carnival weddings are the order of the day, this was a good change for me. I remember the groom being so shaky, while awaiting his bride to walk the aisle. Ah! weddings bring out people's weakness o! lol (i always saw him as very calm).

The decor was ameezing, very very pretty. Infact the planning committee for my church try bikonu. I just love my church fam, very very caring loving people. I'm telling you find a local church, there's nothing better than having supportive people, who are always there to lend a hand.

Back to the main head line!.....AHHHHHhhh!. ok am done. Here is cj :)

To achieve neutral looks please i take God beg you, get the naked palatte. I used it on the eyes and it was so complementary to the thee cj was going for. She just wanted something glittery and simple. So get on that p! The best part of this process was the groom thanking for beautifying his bride (got me all mushy for real). I was happy that i made an impact and people recognized it. This is not the last of me LOL! The only place were moving to is up.

Thank you so much cj for giving me an opportunity to be part of your special day! you have no idea but you have sown a seed :)

Chicherz!

Makeover/trial!

Kedu! Ke kwanu? (igbo for whats up :) )

Anywhos, This weekend i was up to alot hehehe. I got to mc a bridal shower ith my friend tati which

was quite fun. It was my first time mc-ing and lets just say I learnt alot from tati (who is a pro at this).

We thank God sha lol. I came out of it alive.Even though it was just a small crowd, I have learnt to not

despise the days of small beginnings :). Which brings me to my next gist....My church fam is hosting a

wedding for one of our members. So basically what we are doing is helping the couple out with

organization and resources to give them a great wedding.

I volunteered my makeup services to the bride, who is an awesome funloving and very interesting

person by the way. Here she is....I hope sey i try :)

I know y'all can peep my clinical textbook, I was supposed to be practicing nursing

skills..ohwellies :(. I occupied myself with a hobby thats all that matters. In retrospect, this chick was

such a joy to work with. No fuss, no complaints, no nothing, chick is

cool and easy going (and i'm not just saying, she really is). I may sound extra but girl if your reading

this just know that YOU ARE DELIGHTFUL! #thatisall :D

Her, bone structures are also to die for, she's one of those people whose makeup just rests on the face

easily, without wahala. Pics don't do the transformation justice. Looking forward to

Saturday, as she ties the knot and I almost forgot! Happy Independence day Nigeria. Hope ya'll

nigerians are having fun, cause thischick is spending it in the library :(
